How do I handle a
mental health crisis?
I offer crisis support and stabilization for my clients. I also work in tandem with other therapists and mental health professionals who would like additional support through brief therapy, crisis or WRAP plans with their clients. Crisis stabilization is a short-term form of treatment to help people deal with the immediate aftermath of a crisis situation affecting mental health. This brief counseling service is to help individuals regain a sense of safety and return to their normal level of functioning.
I also support family members who have a loved one struggling with a mental disorder such as bipolar or schizophrenia. Often times family members are at a loss of how to help without enabling. Overwhelming feelings of guilt, sadness or fear can surface. I’m here to help you create an intentional role.
